Handover air tickets to sick expatriates at the initiative of H.C
Expatriate Bangladeshi worker Fakir Mohammad Ilyas has been handed a plane ticket to return home due to long illness and unemployment due to economic crisis.
Recently, he was given this flight ticket at the embassy office at the initiative of Bangladesh High Commission in Maldives.
High Commissioner Rear Admiral SM Abul Kalam Azad urgently handed over an air ticket funded by Wage Earners Welfare Board to critically ill expatriate Bangladeshi worker Fakir Mohammad Ilyas to return home.
At this time the counselor of the mission (Labor) Md. Sohail Parvez and Welfare Assistant Mohammad Jasim Uddin were present. Elias's house is in Sadar Upazila of Munshiganj district.
