KARU`s get togetherin held in Toronto
Canadian Alumni Association of Rajshahi University (KARU), an organization of former students of Rajshahi University (RU) living in the country, held a meeting in Canada.
Local time on May 7 at the 'Bangladesh Centre', 2670 Danforth Avenue, Canada. In the get-together, Karur members presented various cultural activities along with reminiscing about Rajshahi University campus life.
Cultural editor of Karur Shirin Akhtar, while reminiscing in the memorial and cultural program, mentioned that Rajshahi University has played an outstanding role in shaping their minds. They always feel proud to have the opportunity to study in such an educational institution.
They mentioned, this university is connected with their soul. Its light and air still illuminates the lives of all of them. They assured that all present and former members of Rajshahi University will live as members of one family for life.
Karu President Mostafiz Khan Pappu and General Secretary Suman Zafar expressed their gratitude to all the former students of Rajshahi University present at the reunion for attending such an event. They hope that in the future, Karu will take up various programs with more former students living in Canada.
Karur members served a variety of delicious food prepared by themselves on the occasion and everyone enjoyed the entire event in a family atmosphere.
