Qatar Comilla Association : President Salahuddin, Secretary Arif

Qatar Comilla Association is made up of expatriates from 17 upazilas of Comilla living in Qatar. Mohammad Salauddin as the president, Arifur Rahman Majumdar as the general secretary and Kazi Mohammad Shamim as the organizing secretary was announced as a partial committee.

Qatar Bangladesh Community 1st Vice President Safiqul Islam Talukder Babu announced the partial committee of the newly formed Comilla Samiti Qatar.

Newly elected President of Comilla Samiti Qatar is Mohammad Salauddin, General Secretary Arifur Rahman Majumder, Senior Vice President Mozammel Hossain Sohag, Vice President Mohammad Kalam, Vice President Rezaul Karim Majumder, Joint General Secretary Baijid Hossain Shamim, Joint General Secretary Bashir Khan, Organizer Editor Kazi Mohammad Shamim, Joint Organizing Secretary Mohammad Sohag. Later, a 151-member committee will be formed and the inauguration ceremony will be held.

Later, a discussion meeting was held under the chairmanship of the newly elected president Mohammad Salauddin and the management of the newly elected organizing secretary Kazi Mohammad Shamim.

Journalist Aminul Haque Kajal, Journalist Anwar Hossain Mamun, Journalist Yusuf Patwari Lincoln, Journalist Akbar Hossain Bachchu, President of Qatar Expatriate Welfare Association Ashraful Islam, General Secretary of Qatar Bhola Association Babul Ahmed Patwari and others spoke at the meeting.

Also present among the journalists were Amin Bepari, Abu Hanif Rana, Ahsan Ullah Sajib, Saddam Hossain, Sajal Malakar, Mohiuddin Chowdhury.

A large number of expatriates from 17 upazilas of Comilla living in Qatar and prominent people of Bangladesh community in Qatar were present in the event.

The speakers said that the social organizations in the diaspora work in the service of humanity, especially the district-based organizations stand by the diaspora in times of danger. By forming social organizations and associations, mutual relations are developed among expatriates of the same area on foreign soil.
