Boishakhi fair held in capital of Australia
The Boishakhi fair was held in Canberra, the capital of Australia. The massive day-long event was held at the Canberra Islamic Center premises on May 20.
The gathering started at 10 in the morning and the fair premises became crowded with the presence of Bangladeshis till 6 in the evening. The main event of the fair was the performance of Bangladeshi artists in various cultural events. Among the other attractions at the fair were local produce stalls. The traditional Bangladeshi food shops get crowded.
Bangladesh-Australia Association Canberra hopes that the organization of the Boishakhi fair has reduced the fatigue due to lack of time in the country.
