Chirkutt to perform in Michigan
The popular Bangladeshi band group 'Chirkut' made the audience drunk in Michigan, America. Vier Events hosted the concert at the Balkan American Community Center in Troy City on May 27, local time.
The program started with the performance of the national anthem of Bangladesh. After that Chirkut's lead vocalist Sharmin Sultana Sumi performed a bunch of songs on the occasion. Chirkut sang the songs 'Magic City' 'Ghare Fera' 'Pahari Jeevan' 'Kanamachi' 'Udhao' and 'Na Bhuthi Dunya' to the delight of the audience. At this time, a different atmosphere was created with the enthusiasm of youth, dancing and singing. The audience was also impressed by Chirkut's two songs in the program.
Earlier, Michigan's band group 'Rhythm of Bangladesh' sang. Apart from this, classical dance was done by Mrittika Sarkar, Mahika Sarkar, Arpita Sen and Arushi Sen. The program was hosted by Fatima Fahim and Nusrat Tanni.
At the end of the program, this reporter talked to Chirkut's main vocalist Sharmin Sultana Sumi. He told Dhaka Post that our route is the country of red-green flag, Bangladesh. We work only with Bengali songs. No matter what language they speak, every nation wants to spread its own literature and culture in the world. We as Bangladeshis have our heritage.
The concert was organized by Vier Events CEO Mohammad Ibn Moinuddin, Fatima Radia and Fairuz. They told Dhaka Post that we have tried to engage our Bangladeshi community with Bengali culture. Popular band Dal Chirkut's performance was enjoyed by all. Veer Events hopes to do even better things ahead.
