Spain-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce new committee announcement

The partial committee of the Spain-Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce (Business Club, Barcelona) was announced last Sunday, June 11, at the local Fragua Grill restaurant in Barcelona Raval, with the conviction to 'move forward in the new globalization'.

Convener Nazrul Islam Chowdhury presided over the meeting in the special general meeting organized by the convening committee under the chairmanship of Miron Nazmul, the member secretary of the organization.

In the presence of all the members of the organization, tension can be seen in the election of president and general secretary. Convenor Dr. Nazrul Islam Chowdhury announced the name of the partial committee after several rounds of discussions with all the members including the convening committee to form a committee that is accurate and above criticism. Later he promised to provide a full committee in coordination with the elected leaders. The names of Sajidur Rahman Sohail, General Secretary Miron Nazmul, Organizing Secretary Mohibul Hasan Khan Qais and Finance Secretary Zafar Hossain were announced as the president of the new executive council of the organization.

Freedom fighters Alauddin Haque Necha, Shafiqur Rahman, Khurshid Alam Badal, AK Azad Dulal, Shafiul Alam Shafi, Uttam Kumar, Shafiq Khan, Shah Alam Swadhin, Faisal Ahmed Molla, Ujjal Hasan, Md Nasir, Firoz Alam Akash gave brief speeches for the formation of the committee. , Mokhleshur Rahman Nasim, Jahangir Alam, Rajib Hossain, Moktar Hasan, Rezaul Karim, AK Azad Mostafa, Abdur Razzaq Khokon, Shafiqul Azam, Shakhawat Hossain, Sujan Islam Farazi etc.

President Sajidur Rahman Sohel and general secretary Miron Nazmul said in a joint statement that the organization will try its best to develop the business community of Spain including Barcelona. They expressed their determination to take the organization forward on the path of prosperity through proper leadership in the future along with creating a full-fledged committee. Organizing Secretary Mahibul Hasan and Finance Secretary Zafar Hossain thanked everyone for electing them.

Convener Nazrul Islam in his closing speech assured to always support the business club in all its activities. He concluded the program by thanking everyone for their cooperation in forming the partial committee to bring the event alive.
