20 companies of Bangladesh participated clothing fair in Paris
TexWorld Apparel Sourcing and Leather World, the global exhibition of apparel and leather goods, was held in Paris, France. 20 companies from Bangladesh participated in this international exhibition organized by Messe Frankfurt, Germany.
The fair, which was held from July 3 to July 5, was influenced by recent events in Paris. Anti-police protests in France have come to a near standstill since a 17-year-old was shot in the chest. As a result, the crowd at the fair was less than other times.
Export Promotion Bureau (EPB) and these organizations directly participated in this three-day exhibition held in Paris.
Mizanur Rahman, Commercial Counselor of Bangladesh Embassy in France said, 20 Bangladeshi stalls have participated in the fair this time. He assured that more institutions will participate in the future.
Companies from Bangladesh, China, Cambodia, Korea, India, Indonesia, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey and Pakistan, the world's largest manufacturers of fashion products, participated in this fair.
Bangladeshi traders are happy to participate in this world class fair. Apart from tanneries, wearable leather products, leather garments, bags, shoes and fashion products are also on display.
Many visitors come to the fair from UK, France, Turkey, Spain, Italy, Germany and other European countries. Among the 1300 stalls, 1000 Chinese stalls participated in this year's fair.
