Ekhlach returned from Qatar as a dead body!
Ekhlach Ahmad (43) went abroad a few years ago to bring smiles to the faces of his relatives. It was said that he will return to the country after this year's fasting Eid. But before that, he returned home, not alive, but as a corpse.
The body of Baralekhar Ekhlach Uddin of Moulvibazar reached the country two days after he died of a brain stroke in Qatar. His body arrived at Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on Tuesday (March 21) around 8 pm. From there, the relatives took his body and sent him home in an ambulance. Ekhlach is the son of deceased Arjan Ali of North Sujanagar (Terakuri) village of Sujanagar UP of Baralekha upazila.
His janaza will be held at 11 am on Wednesday (March 22) at the ground next to the graveyard in North Sujanagar (Terakuri) village of Sujanagar UP.
According to family sources, Ekhlach Ahmad moved to Qatar about 13-14 years ago. There he used to drive under Kafil. Ekhlach Ahmad suffered a brain stroke on March 19 at 11:30 am. He was admitted to a hospital in Qatar. He died later that day in the hospital. Ekhlach is the father of a daughter in his family life.
Ekhlach's nephew Shaheen Mahmud said on the phone at 12 midnight on Tuesday, uncle's body reached the country tonight. We received the body and sent it home. He said, uncle came to the country on vacation last year. It was said that he will come to the country after fasting this year. But it didn't happen anymore. Before that he returned home as a dead body. Shaheen said that he suffered a brain stroke in Qatar on March 19. He later died after being taken to a hospital there. After the legal process there, the body was sent to the country on Monday.
