Chatak Upazila Chairman Fazlur Rahman got civic reception in UK
Former General Secretary of Upazila Awami League and two-time best upazila chairman of Sunamganj district, Fazlur Rahman was given a civic reception on Tuesday (July 25) at Madani venue in East London on the initiative of UK-based upazila residents.
Under the chairmanship of Altafur Rahman Mojahid, senior vice president of community personality Sunamganj Zilla Samiti UK and general secretary of London Metropolitan Awami League, and jointly managed by Ruhul Amin, chairman of Chatak Education Trust UK and general secretary of Coventry Awami League, and former student leader Ahmed Abul Leis, joint general secretary of UK Awami League and newly elected mayor of Sylhet City Corporation Anwaruzzaman Chowdhury attended the event as the chief guest.

In the beginning, community leader Abdul Ahad recited from the Holy Quran. United Kingdom Awami Jubo League Joint General Secretary Anisuzzaman Azad delivered the welcome speech.
