Painting exhibition of Bangladeshi artists ended in Canada
The 'Exhibition Exhibition' ended on Sunday (July 30) in Toronto. 44 artworks of 15 immigrant artists were displayed in the exhibition organized by 'Art Quest', an organization of Bangladeshi painters in Canada. MPP Dolly Begum inaugurated the painting exhibition titled 'Expression' at The Clark Center for the Art Gallery in Guildwood Park, Toronto.
Various experiences of life, joy-pain-love-memory-feelings have been presented by the artists in their works of art. The artists are - Anwarul Kabir Chowdhury, Ruksana Azad, Sonia Zaman, Iftikhar Uddin Ahmed, Rana Kochi, Sauyed Reshma Akhtar, Masood Kabir, Moshiur Rahman, Sanjida Haque, Ferdausi Islam, Shaminur Rahman, Shahida Akhtar, Tahmina Nazneen and Tanya Kabir.
The exhibition is attended by a large number of local and foreign visitors every day. Participating artist Tahmina Nazneen arrived in Canada only a few months ago. He was impressed by the organization of the exhibition and participated in it.
Nazneen said, meanwhile our 'expression' ended, another exhibition started on the other side. The exhibition titled 'Connecting Roots: Live Art Exhibition' is part of Scarborough Folk Fest 2023. The two-day event will feature the artworks of those 15 artists. Which is showing the creativity, talent and cultural heritage of Bangladeshi artists, artistic images.
