North American Bangladeshi Festival 2023 held in Michigan

The three-day 'North American Bangladeshi Festival 2023' was held on July 28, 29 and 30 (Friday, Saturday and Sunday) at 'Zane Field' in Detroit, Michigan.

This was the 22nd anniversary of the fair. The fair runs from 12 noon to midnight every day. Many people came with their families, relatives, children, parents to see the fair. The days of the fair became joyful in the busyness of the rhythmic expatriate life. Basically a golden opportunity to meet and chat with everyone. The fair turned into a gathering.

Organizers said, Bengali, Bengali culture, art, tradition, to inform the new generation and spread it among them. There were various shops in the fair. Bangladeshi products were available in those shops. Sarees, Jewelry, Toys, Home Decor, Food Stores. In the evening, the fair saw a flood of people. Such crowds have not been seen at any Michigan event in recent memory. In the presence of thousands of expatriate Bengalis, Jain Field filled the entire park to the brim. Greater Detroit's Hamtramck, Detroit, Troy, Warren, Sterling Heights, Madison Heights, Royal Oak, Ann Arbor, Lansing, Canton, Pontiac, and various states, especially Ohio, Illinois, New Jersey, Indiana, Canada's Toronto, Windsor, come to the fair.

The fair was attended by various media, social, cultural and political leaders of Michigan. The fair practically turned into a festival. Pravase Mela is now a special Bengali festival. The fair had an interesting raffle draw. Local artists participated in the fair. Bengalis living in Michigan were impressed by the music of Rizia Parveen, a popular artist of Bangladesh. On the last day of the fair, Nagar Baul James took the stage at 10 pm on the last day of the fair. Thousands of spectators burst into applause and cheers. Guru performed his popular songs one after the other. At the end of the song, James said to his audience, "I'll see you again if I live."
