First Bangladeshi judge in Quran competition, reception in Dubai
The first Bangladeshi judge Shaikh Shoaib Mohammad and contestant Saleh Ahmad Takreem were felicitated at the 26th Dubai International Quran Competition in the United Arab Emirates. At the same time, an iftar party was held in their honor.
The reception was organized by Al Mamun Metallic Group at Bangabandhu Hall of Sharjah Bangladesh Association on Saturday (01 April). Al Mamun Metallic Group Managing Director Al Mamun presided over it and the chief guest was Bangladesh Association Sharjah President MA Bashar.
Speakers in the event said, Hafez of Bangladesh has raised our head in the world Wherever Quran competition is held in the world our contestants are winning. Competitors of Bangladesh are highly respected around the world.
The speakers also mentioned that Bangladesh has been honored by the arrival of a Bangladeshi for the first time as a judge in the Dubai International Quran Competition.
Hafez Saleh Ahmad recited the Quran at the Takreem ceremony and sought everyone's prayers for his success.
Special guests at the reception were Al Markazul Islam Chairman Mufti Hamza Shahidul Islam, Engineer Karimul Haque, Hafez Hannan. Also spoke - Kalim Uddin, Muhammad Yusuf, Altab, Sharfraz etc.
