France Bangla Press Club`s Iftar mahfil and community gathering
Iftar mahfil was held in France under the initiative of France Bangla Press Club. An iftar party was organized in honor of the Bangladeshi community on Wednesday (April 12) at a Paris hall in the capital.
Press Club President Debesh Barua presided over and General Secretary Abdul Malek Himu conducted the welcome speech by Professor Apu Alam, Senior Vice President of France Bangla Press Club.
The event became lively with the participation of leaders and activists of various political, social and cultural organizations of the Bangladeshi community in an open discussion before the Iftar.
Speakers in the event said that the number of Bangladeshi community is increasing day by day in France, the multicultural country of Europe. In the country already, many people of Bangladesh have been able to establish and gain reputation in various fields by their talent and hard work. There is bright potential here for Bangladeshis. Therefore, forgetting all political differences, the community leaders expressed their valuable views on the establishment of a universal organization of the Bangladeshi community and Bangladesh House for the welfare of future generations.
France Awami League President MA Kashem was present as the chief guest at the ceremony. Among others are General Secretary Dilwar Hossain Coyce, General Secretary of France Bangladesh Business Forum Subrata Bhattacharya Shubo, eminent music artist Arif Rana. Basu Goswami, Joint General Secretary of the Press Club, various political social and professional leaders of France were present.
