British Prime Minister campaigning for Bangladeshi Khalil`s vote
Local government elections in Britain on May 4. On this day, voting will be held in a total of 230 authorities including metropolitan, district, unitary and bara councils across the country. The mayor will be elected directly by the people in the four councils.
Journalist Ibrahim Khalil has been nominated as a councilor candidate from the ruling Conservative Party in the Kingsway Ward of Rochdale Bara Council in Greater Manchester. He is the only Asian origin councilor candidate in this ward of Rochdale Bara Council.
The leader of the party and the current British Prime Minister participated in the campaign to attract votes for the ruling Conservative Party in the Rochdale area, known as the base of the opposition Labor Party. This is Risi Sonak's first local government election after being elected as Prime Minister.
He went door-to-door with candidates in Rochdale on Saturday. Ask for votes for candidates.

Ibrahim Khalil is a journalist by profession. Bilete worked as a senior reporter for 'Channel S', a popular satellite TV channel for the Bangladeshi community. Besides journalism, he is actively involved in business, community and human service. Under his leadership, the sports organization Londonsportif has achieved tremendous success in London in a short time. Around 15 ethnic origin players are regularly participating in football, cricket and badminton games at this club. The club is very popular with sportsmen from the Bangladeshi community across Britain.
In addition, Ibrahim Khalil was the two-time elected training secretary of London Bangla Press Club, a commemorative organization of Britain's hundred years of journalism. Recently, he also served as a senior officer in a North of England project for Britain's National Census (Census).
In addition to work, he is currently studying full-time in the Law and Legal Practice course at the University of Wales Trinity St. David. He wants to become a good lawyer in future.
Ibrahim Khalil is optimistic that he will succeed in mainstream politics as well. He wants to work in the service of Bangladeshi and local community. As a young politician, he wants to exploit the potential of the society's youth and youth.
