Expatriate Zubair received `Queen Elizabeth Platinum Medal` award
Calgary's Bengali expatriate Zubair Siddiqui has been nominated for the 'Queen Elizabeth Platinum Medal' award for outstanding community service. A very prestigious award introduced by the Government of Alberta in honor of Queen Elizabeth.
Brian Jean, Minister of Employment, Economy and Development of the Government of Alberta, presented him with the medal of honor during a well-attended ceremony.
It should be noted that Zubair Siddiqui was born in a noble family of Baralekha in Greater Sylhet. He has been living in Calgary, Canada for a long time.
In response to a question from the media, he said that any award increases interest in work. Expressing his gratitude to the Government of Alberta, he said that this honorary recognition will further boost his activities in the future.
