Sheikh Hasina`s Homecoming Day celebrated in Qatar
A discussion meeting was organized on the occasion of Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's Homecoming Day in Qatar. The Awami family of Qatar's Chittagong South District organized a joyous rally and distributed sweets after Jatiya Sangsad Whip and Chittagong Potia MP Samshul Haque Chowdhury was acquitted from the ACC case.
A discussion meeting and a joyous gathering were held at the Al Mansoura Green Home Restaurant in Doha, the capital of Qatar, on Wednesday night local time.
The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mohammad Abdul Jalil, convenor of Chittagong South District Awami Family Qatar and Shafiqul Islam.
Qatar Awami League Vice President Mahbubur Rahman Chowdhury Babu, Qatar Awami League Advisor Shahadat Hossain Nasser, Chittagong South District Awami Family Qatar Convening Committee Member Mohammad Morshed, Kamal Uddin, MA Taher, Awami Jubo League Qatar Branch General Secretary Faiz Ahmed spoke on the occasion. , Awami Jubo League Qatar Branch Vice President Atiqul Mawla Mithu, Awami Jubo League Qatar Branch Joint General Secretary Babul Ahmed Patwari, Awami Jubo League Qatar Branch Joint General Secretary Khaled Ahmed, Awami Jubo League Qatar Branch Publicity Secretary Nizam Uddin Farooq and others.
Speakers in the program said that if Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina had not returned to her homeland on May 17, 1981, democracy and the right to vote would not have been established in the country. Speakers urged to declare Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's homecoming day as Democracy Day.
