Bangladeshis participation of International travel fair in China
The 31st Guangzhou International Travel Fair was successfully held in China, a country rich in tourism industry. The three-day international travel fair was held at the Guangzhou Import and Export Fair Complex under the theme of 'Together for a Sustainable Future' with the aim of bringing correct information to the tourism industry under the unified proposal of global sustainable development. Bangladeshi travel-loving tourists spontaneously participate in it.
The Guangzhou Municipal Tourism Bureau was in full cooperation in organizing this three-day fair. The travel exhibition is the first major cultural and tourism event to be held in China since the Covid-19 pandemic and the tourism sector has fully recovered.
The China International Travel Fair had exhibition stalls covering an area of 22,000 square meters. Also, the new trend of cultural and tourism integration is centrally displayed in the fair.
Sri Lankan Minister of Tourism and Lands Harlem Fernando, Guangzhou City Vice Mayor Thanh Ping, World Travel and Tourism Council Senior Vice President Maribel Rodrigue, Hong Kong Tourism Board Deputy Director General Ye Junde, Cuban Embassy in China Tourism Counselor Elizabeth and many others were present at the opening ceremony of the fair.
In order to attract tourists, travel companies and agencies offer free gifts, installment discounts, ticket lotteries, air tickets, hotel bookings, sightseeing tickets, food coupons, visas, study abroad, etc. in addition to direct sales of popular products, and special discounts on a large number of tourism products and services. gave
In 2023, Sri Lanka participated in the fair as the honored country of the Guangzhou International Travel Expo. The country has presented itself as a new high-end tourism destination. Sri Lanka is participating in this exhibition with around 20 important tourism management companies, hotel groups and local travel agencies.
Apart from Bangladesh, travel companies and organizations, diplomats, business leaders and tourists from 55 countries and regions including Germany, United Kingdom, United States, Canada, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Ireland, Saudi Arabia, Sri Lanka participated in this international travel fair.
