Two-day summer fair in Qatar
A two-day summer festival and fair of Bangladeshi products organized by Bangladeshi women entrepreneurs has started in the hall room of Al Wakrah Royal Palace Hotel in Qatar.
Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Mohammad Nazrul Islam inaugurated the fair on Thursday (June 8) at 5 pm local time. The ambassador said that he is very happy that the expatriate Bangladeshi women entrepreneurs have started working in Qatar. The ambassador said that he will give full support to women entrepreneurs when they come to visit the fair.
Later a short discussion meeting was held. The meeting was held under the chairmanship of Mehrun Nicha and Khadija Shila. Bangladesh Ambassador to Qatar Mohammad Nazrul Islam spoke as the chief guest at the event. The special guest was the Labor Minister of Bangladesh Embassy. Mustafizur Rahman, Head of Embassy Bangladesh Embassy Second Secretary Mohammad Nashir Uddin.
Female entrepreneur Pinki Chowdhury, journalist Akbar Hossain Bachchu, journalist MA Salam, businessman Saiful Islam Sagar and others also spoke. The two-day fair of summer sourcing and Bangladeshi products, which started on Thursday, will continue from Friday afternoon to 11 pm local time.
Expatriate women entrepreneurs have arranged sarees, shoes, bags, jewelry, children's clothes, cosmetics, home decoration items, food stalls, Bangladeshi mango, kathal, pineapple shops at the fair. Apart from good sales in the fair, expatriate women entrepreneurs are expecting profit.
All the garment products like Jamdani saree, Dhakai Banarsi, Rajshahi silk, Tangail loom saree, Katan saree, three piece are available in the fair. Besides, all kinds of collections including men's pants, t-shirts, Punjabi.
