Eid-ul-Azha in Canada June 28

Canada is counting the first day of the month of Zilhaj from yesterday (Monday local time in Canada). Accordingly, the first day of the holy Eid-ul-Azha will be celebrated on June 28 (Wednesday) in different provinces of Canada.

On Sunday (June 18) local time in Canada, Senior Imam Sheikh Jamal Hammoud, on behalf of the Muslim Council of Calgary and the Muslim community, gave this information through social media. The second major religious festival of Muslims is the holy Eid-ul-Azha.

In Canada, a country of multiculturalism, devout Muslims from different countries will offer Eid-ul-Azha prayers on Wednesday, June 28 local time in Canada.

The main Eid congregation in Calgary, Canada will be held at 7:30 am at Akram Jumma Mosque. The second congregation will be held at the same place at 9:30 am. Sheikh Yusef Tahraya will lead the Imam. Devout Muslims from different countries come together to offer Eid prayers. A large number of expatriate Bengalis will also be present.

On the other hand, the first congregation of Eid-ul-Azha will be held at 7:30 am and the second congregation at 8:30 am at BMICC, Bangladesh Community Mosque. In addition, devout Muslims from different countries will pray separately in their respective communities.

It should be noted that since Eid is a working day in Canada, many will pray early in the morning and go to work.
