Expat Bangladeshi celebrated Buddha Purnima in Ireland
Happy Buddha Purnima is celebrated in Ireland with religious solemnity and joy. The event was organized by the Bangladesh Buddhist Association, Ireland on Monday (July 3) at the local auditorium in Galway.
Sanghadan was held in the morning with Ashtapariskar.
Dr. Burmese Temple of Birmingham. Bhikkhu Bhadanta Jyotisa, director of Kushlayan Buddhist Meditation Center, delivered the inaugural address presided over by Bhikkhu Nagasen. Ratan Chowdhury prayed Panchsheel.
In the afternoon Swadharma meeting was presided over by Dr. Burmese Temple of Birmingham. Nagsen Ther, the main Dharma Deshaka was Bhadanta Jyotisa Bhikkhu, Director of Kushlayan Buddhist Meditation Center in France, Special Dharma Deshaka was Bhadanta Onomadarshi Mahathir, Principal of France Maitri Buddhist Vihara.
Dr. Hosted by David Barua, welcome speech was given by Dilip Barua, Panchsheel prayer was given by Ripon Barua. Among others, Ratan Chowdhury, Arvind Barua etc. spoke.
Since morning Bangladeshi Buddhists living in Ireland gathered in Galway city.
The auspicious Buddha Purnima ceremony concludes with wishes for happiness, peace and longevity for all beings in the world.
