Literary Humor Chat held in Sydney

A chat on humor in Bengali literature was held in Sydney, Australia. The meeting was held at Jonas Bradley Oval in The Ponds, Sydney at 10:30 am on Sunday (August 6), but the meeting was held at a house for special reasons.

With the participation of expatriate Bangladeshi writers-readers in Sydney, the people present chatted about Bengali literature, jokes, humor based writings. During this time, the readers recited various poems and experiences of Bengali writers.

The event was organized by The Readers Club, an organization of Bengali literary practice in Sydney. The program was conducted by the writer Professor Badrul Alam Khan. He thanked everyone for their participation and said, "Through studying Bengali literature abroad, on the one hand, one can forget the fatigue of work and keep the mind fresh, on the other hand, the trend of Bengali literature can be continued to the new generation."
