Bangladeshi doctors arranged scientific meeting in Sydney

The 11th annual scientific meeting was organized with Bangladeshi doctors working in Sydney, Australia. The meeting was held on August 12 at the Waterview Inn in Sydney's Olympic Park.

More than hundred Bangladeshi doctors participated in the meeting. In this day-long meeting, Bangladeshi expert doctors spoke on health information and remedies.

Other activities of the meeting included Australian Medical Council registration preparation workshop for new Bangladeshi doctors and workshops on Dermatology, ECG, Neurology, Chronic, Rehabilitation etc. Bangladesh Medical Society of New South Wales, one of the organizations of Bangladeshi doctors in Australia, organized this meeting like every year.

Reza Ali, the president of the organizing organization and senior staff specialist of Blacktown Hospital, informed about the plan to conduct philanthropic activities of Bangladeshis and Bangladeshi expatriates in Australia, even though it is an organization of doctors. He told this reporter over the phone, "We don't want to limit our activities to the medical sector only because we are a doctors' organization." We are planning to take some steps for social development in Bangladesh. And for the expatriate Bangladeshis in Sydney, we are also having an organizational discussion about what can be done outside the medical sector. Meanwhile, our organization will work as a guide from the very beginning for those who want to join the medical profession among the new generation of Sydney.
