Tea party honor of National Board of Revenue Member Badal in USA

On the initiative of Chittagong Alumni Association of Michigan, a tea party was organized in honor of Syed Mohammad Abu Dawood Badal, a member of the National Board of Revenue, who was visiting the United States. On Sunday evening (September 3rd), the tea party was held at the association's Madison Heights office under the chairmanship of Syed Moin Dipur, president of the association, and general secretary Lutfur Rahman.

Syed Mohammad Abu Daud Badal said, everyone has responsibility towards people and society. All that is required is strong will power. If we do not come forward to help the neglected and underprivileged people of the society then the change of the society is not possible. For this purpose, he called upon everyone including the wealthy of the society to come forward.

Colonel (retd) SM Hasan Iqbal, Aminur Rashid Chowdhury Kaptan, Milton Barua, Oliur Rahman, ASP Amulya Chowdhury, President of Bangla Press Club Michigan US Helal Uddin Rana, Arvindra Chowdhury Mridul, Lutful Bari Neon, Mostafa Kamal, spoke on the occasion. Enayet Karim, Mohammad Aftab, Salauddin, Mahmud Rahman, Zeenat Begum, Sangeeta Barua, Additional SP Apurba Saha and Mohammad Jasim etc.

The guests are first welcomed with flowers and later courtesy gifts are given to the guests by the association officials. The event was attended by prominent people from the Michigan community. At the end everyone was entertained with home made snacks and coffee. Note that Badal is very popular on Facebook and YouTube. He also has a reputation as a prose writer. He is the author of several books.
