Independence Day celebrated in Germany
The great Independence Day was celebrated in Berlin, the capital of Germany, with great pomp and colour. Diplomats of about 30 embassies in Berlin, Heads of Missions and German Foreign Office, Foreign Trade, Economic-Related, Climate Change and Defense Department officials at various levels, representatives of various think tanks, honorary consuls, German businessmen and expatriate Bangladeshis were present in the event organized by the Bangladesh Embassy.
In the presence of about hundred guests in a hotel in the capital city, Renate Kuenast, the head of the South Asia parliamentary group of the German Parliament and the former German minister of parliament, was present as a special guest in this event.
The program started by playing the national anthems of Bangladesh and Germany. Ambassador Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan gave a welcome speech on the occasion. In the context of Independence and National Day, he is the greatest Bengali of all time, the great leader and architect of independent Bangladesh Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the father of the nation, the four martyred national leaders, all those who participated in the liberation war at home and abroad. And congratulations.

He praised the economic development of Bangladesh as well as the transition of democratic structure. He wished the future success of Germany and Bangladesh.
