FBCCI to support Bangladeshi Immigrant Day-Trade Fair in New York
FBCCI, the apex organization of Bangladeshi businessmen, will cooperate in organizing the '6th Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair 2023' to be held in New York on September 22-23.
Muktdhara New York and USA-Bangladesh Business Link Greater New York Chamber of Commerce are going to organize this event at Marriott Marquis Hotel in New York with the theme of 'Smart Economy in Opening Opportunities'. The event has been approved by the Bangladesh Ministry of Commerce and the Export Development Bureau has already listed the fair in its calendar.
Biswajit Saha, founder of Muktdhara New York, said that FBCCI has already given their consent to help organize the '6th Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair 2023'.
He added that the event is designed as a perfect combination of Bangladeshi trade and cultural showcase aimed at contributing to the facilitation of US-Bangladesh bilateral trade. Apart from stalls of Bangladeshi products, the event will also have a seminar on exporting Bangladeshi products to America and a seminar on IT for mainstream businessmen in America.
Biswajit Saha said that the Export Development Bureau is going to participate in this trade show to increase exports to the United States. EPB already serves various sectors including Banking & Finance Services, Capital Markets, Readymades & Textiles, Medical & Pharmaceuticals, Agro & Agro Processed, Food & Beverage, IT & IT Services, Leather & Leather Products, Handicrafts, Jute & Jute Derivatives and Real Estate. Invited to participate in this trade show.
More than 30 prominent business organizations of Bangladesh participated in the 'Bangladeshi Immigrant Day and Trade Fair-2022' held from September 23 to September 25, 2022. Eminent economists and business leaders from Bangladesh and the United States participated in various sessions.
During the event last year, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between FBCCI and the Greater New York Chamber of Commerce in recognition of the immense potential for expanding economic and commercial cooperation between Bangladesh and the United States.
