Eid fair in Canada has accumulated shopping
On the occasion of the upcoming Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, the Eid Mela for expatriate Eid shopping was completed by organizing the Adda Mela at the Whitehaven Community Association in Calgary, Canada.
The fair had stalls of colorful bahari sarees, jewelery and various types of clothing. There was also good arrangement of Iftar.
Various traders appeared in the fair with new collections. Among these were saree and salwar kameez for women as well as Punjabi and fatwa for boys. There were also attractive clothes for children. Besides, many stalls had a special system of discount as well as surprise gifts for the customers.
Asif Hossain, the organizer of the Eid fair, said, "After a long time, we have been able to come together again, so it feels very good." The main aim of this fair is that everyone can buy their favorite clothes and decorations from here. Clothes made by India and Pakistan along with Bangladesh are also featured in the fair. Besides, this type of initiative among the expatriates is not only shopping, but also an opportunity to meet each other in the expatriate life.
It is to be noted that this fair has been organized with the aim of encouraging shopping among expatriates and sharing the joy of Eid by giving and receiving gifts among family members on the holy Eid-ul-Fitr, said the organizers.
