Iftar mahfil of expatriate journalists in Portugal
Iftar mahfil organized for expatriate journalists in Portugal. Portugal Bangla Press Club organized this Iftar party on Sunday (April 09) at Zaheer Kabab in Lisbon.
Khaled Mohiuddin, head of German-based international news media Deutsche Welle's Bengali department, was the chief guest at the event.
The Iftar Mahfil was attended by expatriate media persons including Roni Mohammad (Bangladesh Daily), Russell Ahmed (The Daily Star), Farid Ahmed Patwari (Dhaka Post), Shah Mohammad Tanveer (Samakal), Sameer Debnath (Our Time), Monir Hossain (Dainik Ittefaq). ), Enamul Haque, Zahid Qaiser, Mohiuddin.
Besides, the owner of the popular Bangladeshi restaurant Zahir Kabab in Poland and the Honorary Consul of the Bangladesh Embassy in Poland were present along with the families of expatriate journalists.
At the end of Iftar, a lively coffee and tea chat about the joys and sorrows, laughter and tears and stories of the expatriates was held in a pleasant atmosphere, as well as an orientation discussion for the expatriate journalists.
