Chatak Education Trust UK welcomed the students who went to Britain for higher education from Bangladesh.

Chatak Education Trust, which consists of expatriates from all walks of life of Chatak Upazila of Sunamganj living in Britain, organized an Iftar party as well as a reception for meritorious students coming to study in different universities in UK. On April 12, at a reception and iftar ceremony organized at a restaurant in Bangla Town, East London, under the chairmanship of the president of the organization Ruhul Amin and the general secretary Ansar Ahmed Ullar, the speaker councilor of Tower Hamlets Council Shafi Ahmed was present as the chief guest. Mujahid Uddin, vice president of the organization, recited from the Holy Quran at the beginning of the meeting.
