Eid is more joyful in Australia

As in other countries, the holy Eid-ul-Fitr has appeared with a message of joy among the Muslim Ummah in Australia. Eid-ul-Fitr has been celebrated in the country with enthusiasm and due solemnity.

On Saturday (April 22), Muslims participated in the Eid prayers as the morning light increased. Separate jamaats are held in each state of Australia from 7 am to 10 am. Multi-ethnic Muslim gatherings meet for prayers, Bangladeshi expatriates participate in the company of their loved ones.

Cuddling with loved ones, exchanging Eid greetings and getting into a frenzy - such scenes are not rare here. Most of the Muslims living in Australia are celebrating Eid together this year. This has seen a crowd of worshipers in every Eid prayer congregation. Apart from this, there is no end to the joy here as the weekend is Eid on Saturday.

On this day, Bangladeshi expatriates are inquiring about each other. Trying to enjoy Eid like the country. Women are showing off their new clothes for Eid, their hands dyed with henna, and their native costumes. A lively presence is also seen in the invitation phase of loved ones' homes. There is also a local flavor in the conversation and various dishes. Although Eid celebrations in the country are considered quite enjoyable by most expatriates. However, the atmosphere of Eid in Australia is not less in that sense.

Only 3.2 percent of the total population in Australia is Muslim. Nevertheless, the minority Muslims are enjoying Eid without any disturbance. Expatriate Bangladeshis are sharing the joy of Eid with each other, forgetting their differences. All in all, the joy of Eid is a little more this time.
