10 foods will help reduce anxiety

We don't want to sit and eat when we are worried, stressed, upset. Then we tend to over-salted snacks or sweet foods. This gives our brain temporary pleasure, maybe anxiety can be reduced for a while. But in the long run such foods do more harm than good and increase our depression and anxiety. Processed meats, foods with added sugar, tea and coffee can increase cortisol production. As a result, anxiety also increases. On the other hand, there are certain foods that work to reduce the level of anxiety or worry. Cashews, berries, oranges, dark chocolate, turmeric are some of the superfoods that reduce anxiety.

* Brussels sprouts are rich in vitamin C, which inhibits the functioning of the adrenal glands. This gland produces stress hormones.

* Omega-3 fatty acids in salmon fish have anti-inflammatory properties. It helps reduce various symptoms of anxiety.

* Turmeric contains curcumin. This ingredient can play a very effective role in reducing anxiety.

* Probiotics in pickles support gut health. As a result, the mood is good.

* Avocados contain healthy fats and B vitamins that can help reduce stress and anxiety.

* Flavonoids in dark chocolate have mind-boosting properties.

* Green tea contains an amino acid called L-theanine, which can improve sleep.
