Things to do stay healthy during Ramadan

The month of Ramadan is unlike any other time of the year. During this month the work schedule of devout Muslims changes a lot. Abstaining from eating and drinking during the day during the month changes many habits. Since you have to go without food all day, it is normal to feel a little tired. During Sahri and Iftar also, you have to pay attention to other aspects including food. Do these things if you want to maintain health during fasting

Eat light meals
Most people have a habit of eating fried food at Iftar. As long as you can't get away from this habit, you can't expect good health. Because after being on an empty stomach for the whole day, our stomach cannot digest it easily if we eat deep fried or extra spicy food. It is normal to get sick as a result. Gas problem increases, along with many other stomach problems. So eat light and easily digestible food as much as possible during fasting. Make sure that all the essential nutrients are present in the food list. Eat food cooked in light oil and spices at Sahri. In Iftar, you can avoid fried food, eat curd, curd, bread, fruit, fruit juice, salad etc. It will make it easier to keep the body healthy.

Take care of sleep
During the month of Ramadan, there is a slight change in the sleeping pattern. Because you have to wake up early in the night to eat sahri. So this month try not to wake up at night and fall asleep earlier. Perform Namaz and other important tasks on time. This will make it easier to go to sleep at the right time. Do not keep smartphone or any other gadget in hand while sleeping. This can delay sleep. If you get enough sleep during fasting, it will be easier to keep your body healthy.

Don't overwork
Many people take extra workload during Ramadan. This cannot be done. Try to be as independent as possible. Many housewives prepare various dishes for Iftar. It causes waste and weakness in the body. So there is no need to prepare extra food. Ramadan is the month of moderation. Try moderation in food too. Apart from cooking, avoid strenuous activities during this time. Or you can simply get tired.

Drink water
Since it is not possible to eat food during the day, take a break after Iftar and drink water. Abstaining from food and drink throughout the day can cause dehydration in the body. And because of this many other problems can arise in the body. So try to retain enough water in the body. Consume water, syrups, fruit juices, watery fruits and vegetables. It will eliminate dehydration in the body.

Keep yourself active
Don't be lazy just because you are fasting. Try to keep yourself active. Maintain the continuity of the activities that you used to do regularly. But avoid overwork. Activities such as physical exercise should be reduced during this time. Don't get into the habit of sitting or not working all the time. Pray regularly. Both mind and body will be healthy.
