How much will cost Indians to get blue tick on Facebook and Insta

Meta recently announced a paid profile verification program. After that, the company launched this service in the United States through Australia, New Zealand one by one last week. This service is going to be launched in the Indian market.

Meta has revealed how much it will cost Indian users to use verified profiles on Facebook or Instagram.

At the moment Facebook and Instagram, both social media platforms have web versions as well as mobile applications. In that case, their parent company Meta said that if anyone is interested in the profile verification program in this country, then they will have to spend 1,450 rupees per month if they take a subscription from the mobile app. On the other hand, if they subscribe to the program from their desktop browser through Facebook's official website, they will have to pay Rs 1,099 per month.

Elon Musk launched the 'Blue' subscription shortly after buying Twitter last year. Where users have to pay certain subscription fee to get profile verified i.e. blue tick badge. Facebook company Meta announced a virtually identical program.

The company has brought its Facebook and Instagram under the 'Meta Verified' program, where users can verify their profiles as before, but for this they have to pay a subscription fee.

In this case additional protection will be enabled for accounts subscribed to Meta Verify. Meta also promises that users will get realtime or direct support if they face any problem related to their account. Also get access to fun exclusive collections like extra stars, stickers etc.
