Google banned 36 apps

Google banned 36 Android apps due to malware alert. The apps were first identified by McAfee.

The 36 apps also include some popular apps. McAfee's research team says these apps can perform multiple tasks without users' permission.

According to a McAfee report, their research team discovered a software library. whose name is Goldoson. The app can collect a list of the total number of apps installed on a customer's phone.

The more terrifying news is that this software library can collect information from the user's nearby GPS location to WiFi history and even Bluetooth devices.

At the same time, deceptive ads can be clicked in the background without the user's permission.

The report also mentions that McAfee found more than 60 malicious apps. Including this third-party malicious library. The apps have been downloaded nearly 100 million times from One Store and Google Play Store.

Google took action after the publication of the report. A total of 36 out of 60 apps have been banned by Google from the Play Store.
