Twitter opens up earning opportunity for users
Apart from watching pictures and videos on Twitter, many people also read a lot of news. Media also regularly share their news on Twitter. And now Elon Musk is going to give the media an opportunity to earn from these shared news.
In a tweet on Saturday, Musk wrote, 'From next month, news publishers i.e. media houses will be allowed to charge users for reading reports. If a user is not a monthly subscriber of a newspaper, he will be charged a certain amount for reading each report. In that case, users will have to spend more money than the monthly customer subscription.
If this facility is launched, Musk believes that both media and readers will benefit. Several media outlets have already claimed to launch subscriptions at a minimal price to read their own special reports.
Mask's rationale behind charging users for reading news is that the money paid by users to the respective media outlets for reading news will be used by publishers to produce good news or reports. The reader will benefit from it and will get an opportunity to write information-based and evidence-rich.
Earlier this month Musk changed the Twitter logo after 17 years. Instead of a bird, he brought a picture of Dougie.
The doggy meme used in Twitter's new logo is actually the logo of a cryptocurrency company called Dogecoin. Which in 2013 was made by that organization as a 'joke'.
Musk has made several changes since buying Twitter for $44 billion in October last year. Some of these decisions have been criticized. Now the thing to see is how the netizens take this decision.
