Elon Musk starts following PM Narendra Modi on Twitter
Billionaire Elon Musk is following Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter, according to reports. A screenshot of Musk's 'following' list on Twitter has been doing the rounds on social media. While PM Modi is one of the most followed leaders in the world with over 87.7 million followers on Twitter, Musk has 134.3 million followers on Twitter.
The development about Musk's 'following' list was shared by "Elon Alerts" on Twitter. "Elon Alerts" generally monitors activity of Tesla chief's account.
Meanwhile, this has become a topic of discussion on Twitter with a section of followers claimed that this may well be a sign that Tesla may come to India.
There are around 450 million monthly active users on Twitter, as per a report by Guinness World Records. When Musk took charge of Twitter in 2022, he had 110 million followers. Currently that number has gone up to 133 million. Only former US President Barack Obama and Canadian singer Justin Bieber has more number of followers than Musk.
