US tornadoes leave 22 dead

The death toll from powerful tornadoes in southern and western US cities has risen to 22. At least a hundred more people were injured in the same incident. A state of emergency has already been declared in those areas.
A strong tornado hit on Friday. On Saturday, it gradually moved eastward through the state of Arkansas. In addition to numerous houses, trees were crushed.
According to an AP report, about 85 million people have had their homes damaged by the storm. Along with that, about 560,000 people have lost electricity due to the breakdown of electric lines.
On Saturday, Arkansas Governor Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed the death of at least five people in her state alone in this powerful tornado. In addition, four deaths were reported in Wynne, Arkansas, about 100 miles (160 km) east of Little Rock. In addition to one fatality in North Little Rock, at least 50 people were hospitalized with injuries.
