Turkey`s homegrown 5th-generation fighter jet named KAAN
Turkey's fifth-generation national fighter jet has been named Kan. Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan gave such a name. Earlier the name of that fighter was TF-X. It was renamed in an announcement on Monday.
An event was organized in the country's capital, Ankara, to highlight the various fighter jets manufactured by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI). The Kahn warplane is also displayed there. Turkish President Erdoğan said in the ceremony organized under the title "Future Century", "Turkey has now excelled in every field of the armaments industry." The country is developing military equipment suitable for use on land, sea, air and space. Türkiye is now also building submarines.
Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is the manufacturer of the fifth generation fighter jet. The fighter jet was designed to replace the Turkish military's aging F-16 fleet.
Erdoğan said, by making this warplane, Turkey will become one of the five countries with such advanced technology.
The construction of this militant aircraft started in 2016. It then went on sale in March.
This 21 meter plane has a maximum speed of 2222.64 km per hour. Can run fast. This militant plane has two engines.
Kahn Fighter has several excellent features. Eg: This aircraft will be aware of any (combat) situation. Its pilot can quickly complete many military operations through the fighter jet. The fighter jet can quickly detect battle damage. The enemy will not be able to detect this fighter plane easily. It can be used for precision strikes and the aircraft can carry a wide range of weapons.
