Formation of Jubo League committee in Maldives
The committee of the Jubo League has been formed through a grand ceremony at the South King restaurant in Male, the capital of Maldives.
Last Thursday (March 9) a full committee of 51 persons was formed under the chairmanship of Mohammad Russell Ahmed Sagar, the joint convener of Awami Jubo League of Maldives.
Mohammad Russell Ahmed Sagar was unanimously nominated as the president through the votes of all the leaders and activists, and Md. as the general secretary. Billal Hossain and Mohammad Nasir Uddin as organizing secretary.
Immediately after the announcement of the new committee, everyone observed a minute of silence to pray for the soul of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman. After that, the religious affairs secretary of the organization, Belayet Ahmed Sumon, led prayers wishing long life for Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her family.

Other members of the committee are Vice President Mir Hossain, Joint General Secretary Saiful Islam, Shamim Patwari and Awal Khan, Organizing Secretary Nasir, Farooq Khan Joy, Kawshar Ahmed, Office Secretary Iman Khan, Finance Secretary Kabir Hossain, Publicity Secretary Abdur Rashid Monir Dharma. Affairs Belayat Hossain Sumon, Hossain, International Affairs Secretary Sajib Wazed, Labor Affairs Sumon Mia Zainal Abdin, Liberation War Affairs Sujan, Salauddin, Sports Affairs Yunus Khan, Zahid Raihan, Law Affairs Fayez Ahmed, Culture Affairs Kausar, Saidul Raihan and Environment Affairs Safran.
