10year E-passport service is being launched in Kuwait
The long-desired 10 year E-passport of Bangladeshi expatriates in Kuwait is coming true. Passport team members from Bangladesh are working for this. This service program will be inaugurated on March 22 (Wednesday).
Bangladesh Minister (Labor) and Charge the Affairs Mohammad Abul Hossain confirmed this information in Kuwait on Sunday (March 19).
He said, Kuwaiti expatriates have been demanding 10-year e-passport for a long time. The e-passport will have both a 5-year and a 10-year validity. Kuwaiti expats can get any passport they want by paying two separate fixed fees. Along with this there will be MRP passport.
Badshah Mia, a Kuwaiti expatriate, said that the news of 10-year e-passport is very happy for us Kuwaiti expatriates. In order to get a visa in Kuwait, the passport must be valid for at least one year. Our passport is kept with the owner before going to the country or given by the owner if there is a special need. Due to which we often forget the expiry date. At that time, I had to suffer, I had to pay a fine of two Kuwaiti dinars per day. Kuwaiti expatriates will get rid of this suffering when the e-passport service is launched.
