Bangladesh in the world`s largest tourism fair in Berlin
Bangladesh participated in the world's largest tourism fair 'ITB Berlin 2023' in Berlin, Germany. At this year's fair, 5,500 exhibitors from 169 countries displayed their tourism-related products and services. 10 companies from Bangladesh along with Bangladesh Tourism Board participated in the fair to highlight the tourism industry of Bangladesh at the World Darbar.
Among the organizations participating in the fair in coordination with the Bangladesh Embassy in Berlin, Germany were Rising Bangladesh, Tour Planners Limited, IroomsBD, Deshghuri.com, Sunmoon Travels International, Beyond Adventure and Tourism DMC, A-One Tourism, Bogra Air Travels, Pabna Tours and Travels and Cosmos Holidays. .
The opening ceremony of the festival was attended by the Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Garibashvili. The Bangladesh Pavilion was inaugurated by the Ambassador of Bangladesh to Germany. Mosharraf Hossain Bhuiyan.
He said that by participating in this international tourism fair, Bangladesh has played an important role in attracting well-known and foreign tourists to the world court.
The coordinator of the fair is the Minister (Commercial) of Bangladesh Embassy in Germany. Saiful Islam said, Bangladesh has immense potential in the tourism sector. But to benefit from this sector we need to promote it internationally. ITB Berlin is the perfect platform where we have been able to secure this promotion.
He said that Bangladesh's participation in ITB Berlin has paved the way to connect with the global tourism market by highlighting cultural, natural beauty and tourism infrastructure.
