Honoring Women of Achievement in Michigan
On the occasion of International Women's Day celebration, 10 successful Bangladeshi-American women were honored and a cultural program was held in the state of Michigan.
Women's organization Biolets recently organized this event at Adda Music Cafe and Restaurant. In this, the entire event took the form of a meeting with the participation of numerous expatriate creative women.
Sharmin Tanim, the founder of Biolets, presented honor crests and awards to the top 10 women for their motivation to achieve success in various fields including education, job, business, cultural and political besides managing the house. The event was hosted by cultural activists Paramita Neetu and Afrin Mahdi.
Honored women are Dr. Nilufa Akhter Nipu, Farhana Elora Hussain, Salma Mumu, Rumki Sen, Nusrat Martin, Syeda Chowdhury, Wahida Mia, Salma Saif and Ayana Event and Decor Company.
Artists of Ten and Half Mile band performed music on the occasion. Besides, everyone rejoiced in the dance and song festival.
