US family welcomes newborn daughter after 138 years

Finally the drought of almost a century and a half was cut. Two weeks ago, American couple Andrew and Caroline Clarke welcomed a baby girl. The birth of a baby girl has created a festive atmosphere in the Clark household.

The baby girl has been named Audrey. Through this, after 138 years, a daughter was born in this American family. Prior to this, in 1885, a daughter was born in the Clark family.

While talking to the media, Andrew said that the birth of the baby girl was a surprise for the whole family.

Caroline Clarke said that when she started dating Andrew ten years ago, Andrew told her about this 'curse' in his family. Andrew told Caroline that after 1885 there were no more daughters in their family.

"When Andrew told me that, I couldn't believe it," Clarke said. But after marriage I hear the same from her family. I wished in my heart that a daughter was born in my womb.

Andrew and Caroline also have a five-year-old son. Then Caroline became pregnant in 2021. But the embryo is destroyed due to various problems. Caroline became pregnant again in September last year. After that comes the good news.

Caroline said, the arrival of a daughter in their married life is like the moon. He also told the media that the child is healthy.
