Scholarship for meritorious children of expatriate Bangladeshi
The Wage Earners Welfare Board will provide educational scholarships to meritorious children of expatriate workers. Those who have passed the SSC/equivalent examination in 2022 and are studying 11th/equivalent or diploma (1st semester/year) in various educational institutions of the country and those who have passed the HSC/equivalent examination in 2021 and are studying in various universities/medical (1st semester/year) of the country, subject to the following conditions You can apply online.
Scholarship Terms:
1. Children of expatriate workers receiving exit clearance or membership of Wage Earners Welfare Board through CMET database.
2. Children of deceased expatriate workers who have received or will receive financial assistance from the Wage Earners Welfare Board.
Duration of Scholarship: 1. Students nominated for scholarship in SSC/equivalent category will be awarded scholarship for 2 years up to 11th and 12th standard and 4 years for diploma students and 4 years for university (1st semester/year) and 5 years for medical in case of students nominated for scholarship in HSC/equivalent category. . In this case the session of the student will not be considered.
