11 people died in intense fire at the event in Maharashtra
The common people are panting in the intense heat. Due to this heat, people are not able to work properly. Students are unable to go to schools and colleges. People suffer from various health problems in this summer. 11 people died of heat stroke in such heat.
11 people died of heat stroke during an award ceremony in India's Maharashtra due to intense heat. Besides, many others have also fallen ill due to heat-related health problems in the same event. Many of these sick people have been admitted to the hospital. Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis confirmed the matter on Sunday.
India's Union Home Minister Amit Shah was present as the chief guest at the event organized in Navi Mumbai, Maharashtra. Apart from Chief Minister Eknath Sindhe, Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis was also present on the occasion.
Indian media claimed that the program was organized in the open ground of Navi Mumbai. Where thousands of people gather in the midst of intense heat. Even with temperatures of 38 degrees Celsius, there was no canopy over the head. Later, during the event from 11 am to 1 pm, many people fell ill due to intense heat and were taken to hospital.
Meanwhile, Chief Minister Eknath Sindh also visited the hospital to see the injured after the incident. At that time, besides expressing deep grief over the death of 11 people in the intense heat, he also announced compensation of 5 lakh rupees to the families of each deceased.
