Saudi rescued 52 foreigners including Bangladeshis from Sudan
The country's rescue forces rescued some Bangladeshis from the conflict-ridden country of Sudan and took them to Saudi Arabia. Apart from Bangladesh, they took the citizens of 10 other countries safely to Saudi on Friday (April 28).
This information was given by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia in a statement published on Twitter.
As part of the ongoing rescue operation directed by the leadership of the monarchy, rescuers from the Republic of Sudan arrived in Jeddah on Friday, including 52 nationals from the United Kingdom, South Africa, Russia, Ghana, Lebanon, the United States, Niger, Bangladesh, Libya, Canada and Guinea, the statement said. are there They were brought aboard Al Jubail. Now arrangements are being made to send the rescued people to their own country.
The statement also said that so far Saudi Arabia has rescued 2,796 people from Sudan. Among them there are 119 Saudi nationals. And the remaining 2 thousand 677 people are citizens of 78 different countries.
Meanwhile, on April 15, a clash broke out between the Sudanese army and the paramilitary Rapid Support Force (RSF). About 500 people have lost their lives in the country so far in the fighting between the two forces. Besides, more than 4 thousand people were injured.
A formal ceasefire is currently in place between the Army and the RSF. However, despite this, the two forces continued to attack each other.
