Hugging loved ones can reduce high blood pressure, says research

Nowadays most of the people suffer from high blood pressure. This disease is caused by various reasons including excess fat, work stress, drinking alcohol, loud noise and being in crowded environment. It can be controlled with regular medicine. But apart from medicine, you can get rid of blood pressure if you regularly hug your loved ones! A recent study claims so.

Hugging a loved one after a long time brings a strange peace. As if all bad feelings go away. Research has found several benefits of this hug. Hugs are not the only way to express feelings. A type of hormone is released from the brain when hugged closely, which helps in physical and mental development in many ways.

Studies have shown that hugging can improve anyone's mental health. Hugs release the hormone oxytocin, which calms the brain. Hugging for 10 seconds or more has a positive effect on the mind. Especially when a close friend or loved one hugs you, it brings peace of mind.
