LPG price increased by Tk 57
At the consumer level, the price of liquefied natural gas (LPG) has been increased by Tk 57 from Tk 1,178 to Tk 1,235.
Bangladesh Energy Regulatory Commission (BERC) announced the new rate on Tuesday (May 2) at 2:30 pm. The company is responsible for determining the price of the imported product. The new price will be effective from this evening.
According to the announcement, the retail point price of private LPG has been fixed at 102 taka 91 paise per kg including tax at the consumer level. Besides, the price of private LPG supplied in liquid state in reticulated system has been fixed at 99 taka 68 paisa per kg including Musak at the consumer level.
Apart from this, the price of autogas at the consumer level has been fixed at 57 taka 52 paisa per liter.
Earlier in April, BERC had reduced the price of 12 kg LPG cylinder from Tk 1422 to Tk 244 to Tk 1 thousand 178 at the consumer level.
