AL too defers rally to Friday
The ruling Awami League deferred their "peace rally" to Friday instead of holding it tomorrow, shortly after BNP made the same announcement about their planned grand rally in the capital.
The ruling party's rally-jointly organised by Chhatra League, Jubo League and Swechchhasebak League-will be held around 3:00pm on Friday at the trade fair ground next to the Bangabandhu International Conference Center in Agargaon.
Gazi Mejbaul Hossain Sacchu, acting president of the Swechchhashebak League, confirmed the development tonight.
Bangladesh Chhatra League, Jubo League, Swechchhashbak League were originally supposed to hold a "peace rally" at the south gate of the Baitul Mukarram Mosque tomorrow.
However, they changed the date of the rally due to complications regarding the venue.
