BNP to march city streets today
Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) will march in the capital demanding release and advance treatment of party chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia, reports our correspondent.
Initiated by Dhaka North and South BNP, the party will begin the programme at 3:00pm in front of the BNP Nayapaltan central office to Shantinagar, Malibagh and Moghbazar intersection.
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir will present on the occasion as a chief guest.
In addition, BNP standing committee members, senior leaders and leaders and activists of the associate organisations will join the event.
