After 5 days the price of gold increased again

Five days after reducing the price, the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS) announced to increase the price of gold again. The new price has been fixed at 98 thousand 444 taka by increasing 1 thousand 283 taka per bari gold of good quality. Until now which was 97 thousand 161 taka.

This information was informed in a press release signed by MA Hannan Azad, Chairman of Bajus Price Determination and Price Monitoring Standing Committee on Saturday (April 15).

According to Bajus, the price of acidic gold has increased in the local market. Considering the overall situation, Bangladesh Jewelery Association has decided the new price of gold, which will be effective from Sunday (April 16).

According to the new prices, the price of best quality or 22 carat gold (11.664 grams) has been increased by Tk 1,283 to Tk 98,444. The price of 21 carat gold has increased by Tk 1,225 to Tk 93,954, the price of 18 carat gold has increased by Tk 1,050 to Tk 80,539 and the price of traditional gold has been increased by Tk 874 to Tk 67,126.

The price of gold has been increased but the price of silver has been kept unchanged. According to the category, the price of 22 carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,715 per load, the price of 21 carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,633, the price of 18 carat silver has been fixed at Tk 1,400 and the price of traditional silver has remained unchanged at Tk 1,050.

Earlier, Bajus had reduced the price of gold on April 10. Gold has been sold at that price till date.

Today, the price of best quality or 22 carat (11.664 grams) gold was Tk 97,161, 21 carat was Tk 92,729, 18 carat was Tk 79,490 and traditional method gold was Rs. was 66 thousand 252 taka.
